Ok, for starters, this is an INSIDE ONLY helicopter. Which is fine, because the value of an outside copter is [...]-.
This helicopter has wonderful attributes as the lights flicker, and the spotlight on the bottom adds a enjoyable effect and is also pretty helpful when flying with the lights off. The stability, turns, and movement is incredibly precise and works like a charm.
Even so, I will have to say that when you first take off it is tough to get it correct. It is practically impossible to take off from the carpet and / or floor. You require to take off from a thing elevated like a stool, step-stool, table, chair and so on. This is primarily considering that when you put the throttle to go up, ( if you push it all the way to the top ) the helicopter flies up way to speedy and becomes unstable and unmanageable. If you go to slow, it tends to tip to a single side or the order and with essentially fail to launch due to the carpet.
You could possibly test what you like, but this toy is worth the purchase.
As far as durability goes, my 4 year old and 7 year crash it a lot more instances than I can count and it runs terrific.
It does come with 1 set of additional rotor blades!

I was so excited when I bought this item...it came in the mail really rapidly...I was able to get it charged rather simply and inside a handful of hours I had it at operate and we had been playing with it. Challenge is that after 2 or 3 days...the item would no longer charge and when it did appear like it had a charge...the helicopter would only hover 3 or 4 inches above the ground. The controller was kinda poorly made for the reason that I noticed that I had to set it halfway inbetween settings in order to get the helicopter to recognize input. So for 2 or three days of enjoyable...then weeks of searching at it on my table with regret...i'd say skip this item and go with one thing else.
