I ordered two due to the fact of the excellent price tag. I did not have any experience with remote manage helicopters. I caught on promptly with keeping it in the air. One problem was the rotor pin came loose and fell out just after a just couple of brief flights and crashes. Could not discover it. I did get superior with the 2nd a single and uncover that the roto pin functions its way out with use. So my guidance is to check it frequently and you will need to not shed it. I had to push it in a number of occasions. I also check the screws to make positive they do not operate loose. So far they remain snug but did find one particular that necessary a small tightening. I purchased a Falcon X a number of months ago and located it to be a great, rugged mini heli for indoor use. Good for those who are wanting to study how to fly a three channel mini heli. The gyroscope delivers a level of stability that makes it possible for for beneficial controlled flight. The only draw-back that I had was after countless flights, I crashed the heli into a wall. The linkage for the stablizer bar and the upper rotor broke. I could not acquire the linkage as a spare portion so purchased a kit to replace the entire rotor assembly. I attempted to replace the linkage from the replace rotor assembly but found it to be shorter than the original. Finally replaced the complete rotor assembly and it continues to give fantastic service.
Warning...if you are looking to move to a four channel applying this mini heli could pose a trouble. Its so stable in flight that moving to a higher performing heli can be an issue in instruction. I moved to a Blade MCX and identified it a bit challenging to study to manage a four channel vice the Falcon X three channel.
Bottom line - this mini heli I rather quick to fly if you are moving from a 2 channel to a 3 channel. I would recommend the SYMA Model S107 more than the Falcon X only mainly because the on-off switch and the battery are a lot easier to access. Otherwise the both exhibit incredibly similiar flight capabilities.
