Consumer Evaluations

My three year old got this from Santa for Xmas and he loves it! The sound effects are excellent, hoorah! Straightforward to fly due to the built in deal with (with trigger for sound effects). Toy seems sturdy. My only complaint is that the rescue hook is what automates the rotor blades, so you pull the cord on the hook and let it go to spin the blades. Even though that in itself is fun, attempting to use the hook to rescue soldiers is significantly more troublesome b/c it desires to wind itself back up (therefore the four star rating rather of five).

My son (three 1/two) got this toy for X-Mas and he is loving it. The Helicopter meet my expectations, it is sturdy and incredibly excellent high-quality. The only disapointing factor is that only the rescue hook ("the claw!") is creating the rotor blades move, it would be significantly even more enjoyable, if the rotor could be automated by the trigger and the sounds by an additional button - that would make sense.
Regrettably, the soldiers are way also smaller for this size of helicopter. There is no "sitting" figure, also no a single, who can be a pilot and - Amazon zoom image shows two soldiers, 1 of them is medic with an aid bag. But in the box there is no medic! A single of the small soldiers has a radio and another a single with binoculars. No medic! Pretty disappointing for my son, given that his dad is a combat medic!
But my son resolved all the challenges - a guy from some toy construction set is now flying the helicopter (former this guy was operating a forklift). The soldiers from Toy Story Bucket of Soldiers Toy Story Bucket o Soldiers, that he also got for X-Mas - are now performing the duty, considering the fact that their size comes closer with the size of the helicopter and two little guys, that came with the helicopter - my son calls them "small me".
Summary: a excellent, realistic and sturdy toy, but demands some improvement. That's why four stars and not five.
