Consumer Critiques
Okay let me just say this is an amazing indoor mini helicopter! I purchased a micro mosquito and it is crap when compared to the Ox-Wolf! The rotors are a good high impact plastic and you do not have to worry like you do with the super fragile aluminum rotors for the mosquito.
The Ox-Wolf also does a improved job of hovering than the mosquito as nicely.
And if you fly too close to the ceiling, the rotors do not suck you up and maintain you stuck on the ceiling. Just decrease your rotor speed and you will come down steadily, and maintain flying, unlike the mosquito exactly where you have to kill the rotor speed all out to come off the ceiling.
A great feature is that it resembles the popular AirWolf helicopter: "Lady."
For what you pay for one particular micro mosquito (not the rip offs,) you can obtain two of these Ox-wolfs!
The only two down-side I will say about this great little helicopter is that it does not have the flying time of the mosquito or even the Air Hogs Piccoo Z. (Flight time will last you around 6-7 mins with a decent charge time of around 10mins.)
And the blinking light on the nose that adjustments color is a bit annoying.
Other than those two minor flaws, you will have additional enjoyable flying this than the micro mosquito.
(I cannot think I am the 1st to write a critique of this amazing mini helicopter!)
On the second day I owned this heli, a smaller gold weight flew off the stabilizer bar. I wrote the business and (to their credit)received a speedy response. I was hoping for some thing like "Sorry about that, we'll send you a handful of of those no charge." Rather I was sent a link to acquire an whole new blade assembly for $7.00. This I purchased and was amazed to see that there were no instructions provided on how to set up it. Does this firm feel we had been born figuring out how this heli goes together?
Add to that, the 2 assemblies I bought were indifferently tossed into a rather sizeable box with no packing material. The message was clear "We have your income - that is what counts."
I realize we are in a type of Dark Age of customer service, yet this is an opportunity for this business to stand above the rest.
