Measuring 12 inches nose to tail, and 8 inches from wingtip to wingtip, this sturdy plastic plane features a pilot, two passengers, a piece of luggage, a door that opens, six windows, including the pilot’s windshield, a manage over the cut-out top, working wheels (which make the pilot and passengers go up and down as if encountering turbulence), and the obligatory face on the front of the craft. Push down on the pilot in her seat (yes, her seat…we are in the 21st century, you know!) for flashing lights, a tune, flight attendant commentary, and swooshing airplane sounds. Judging from the outfits of the passengers and the palm tree style on the wings, this aircraft seems to be headed for a tropical port--airport, that is. What’s not to appreciate? My son got this plane when he was 19 months old. For several months now, he has been particularly significantly into cars, trains and airplanes. I got an e mail from Fisher Cost showing this and other new toys. I let my son watch the demo for the airplane and he was hooked.
The airplane comes with a pilot, two passengers and a piece of luggage. Two of the 3 passenger seats as well as the pilot's seat move up and down as the plane is pushed along the ground. The plane has a side door which opens and the best is cut out for uncomplicated access to the passenger seating. When the pilot is pressed down, the plane tends to make noises, says a welcome to your flight message or plays a cute song. Red lights at the base of the wings flash in conjuction with the sounds.
This airplane is rather huge compared to several Little People toys. It is about 12 inches lengthy, 8 inches high and 8 inches wide. It's a tiny bit on the heavy side as well, but a deal with across the top tends to make it uncomplicated for my son to lift it for pretend flights by way of the air.
