If you can afford it, you would be smart to obtain a fine helicopter simulator to practice on. I have a RealFlight and that has helped me a lot. But, it did take me awhile to get utilized to not essentially being in the front seat when making turns, due to the fact you do have to simulate that you are in the front seat when deciding which way to turn. Received my 9101 now. I have not had a chance to fly it but, but it is larger than my 9053. it is slightly far more than an inch longer and higher than the 9053. The canopy is larger than the 9053 and I believe that you will not be in a position to reverse the lower blades to get even more clearance like you can on the 9053. The main blades are the very same on both helicopters, but the tail rotors are different and not interchangeable.
